Syncrude deploys Enterprise Air's Mobile Badge Management ID Verification Solution to Extend Security at its Oil Refineries

FORT MCMURRAY, CANADA - November 30, 2006 - Enterprise Air has completed a successful deployment of its Mobile Badge Management product with Syncrude Canada Ltd., including two-way synchronization of cardholder data and access events with Syncrude's existing physical access control system (PACS).

Syncrude Canada Ltd., a joint venture of several major oil companies, uses Mobile Badge Management's handheld card readers to extend and augment its existing security system. The ruggedized handhelds enable security guards to create checkpoints at any location throughout the facility, and to track work crews as they enter and exit secure areas.

Two-way synchronization of Mobile Badge Management with Syncrude's PACS system enables security guards to automatically download cardholder data and access permissions to the handhelds, and then to automatically upload card exit and entry events to the PACS. This provides Syncrude's security administrators with a single history of all access events.
