New York - July 24, 2007 New York based Business Network of Emergency Resources (BNET), creator of the Corporate Emergency Access System (CEAS) forms strategic alliance with Enterpriseair, manufacturer of the Emergency Response Access Manager (ERAM) solution. BNET is pleased to announce that it has developed a strategic alliance with Enterprise Air for providing for the deployment of its Emergency Response Access Manager (ERAM) solution for the verification of ID cards at the scenes of emergencies issued to critical business employees as part of the Corporate Emergency Access System (CEAS). The first deployment of this solution will be in New York City where the CEAS program has been in use since 2004. “We are extremely excited to have our software used as an important part of the CEAS program and hope that this New York deployment will be the first of many other CEAS cities to adopt our software” said Enterprise Air Chief Executive Michael Hejtmanek. “New York City is clearly the flagship program in the CEAS partnership and continues to be at the cutting edge of emergency management. CEAS is a pre-event credentialing program, which authenticates critical business employees to gain access to restricted areas following a disaster or serious emergency using a secure identification card recognized by the police. Jurisdictional governments must adopt the CEAS Program for use in their jurisdiction before businesses can enroll in the Program and receive ID cards. The local authorities can implement CEAS following an emergency once immediate threats to life are stabilized. The CEAS program in currently being used in New York City, Buffalo and Nassau County, NY, Boston and Cambridge, MA and Stamford, CT.
Enterprise Air’s suite is a solution for checking ID cards and credentials at an emergency site, which allows active CEAS members to be identified at an incident. ERAM is complete solution packaged in a rugged portable kit and can be easily interfaced to existing identity infrastructures.
