Mobile Badge Management for ID Verification deployed at University of Massachusetts Medical Center

WORCESTER, MA - February 28, 2007 - The University of Massachusetts Medical Center (UMMC) has recently deployed the Mobile Badge Management solution from Enterprise Air to enhance security at its hospital facilities in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The UMMC is now using the application, and its handheld card readers, to verify identification of hospital staff, including temporary workers.

The Mobile Badge Management application was quickly integrated with UMMC's existing physical access control system, enabling security guards to use their existing database of cardholders and access permissions. Deployment of the solution was rapid, enabling UMMC's security personnel to quickly cope with a sudden increase of temporary workers at the hospital site.

James City County deploys Enterprise Air's Physical Security Interconnect system

WILLIAMSBURG, VIRGINIA - February 16, 2007 - Enterprise Air announced the recent deployment of its Physical Security Interconnect (PSI) solution at the municipal office of James City County, Virginia. James City County is using PSI to simplify the issuance of ID cards to its government employees, by connecting their central IT systems to the physical access control systems (PACS) that control their electronic gates and doors.

With PSI, personnel administrators are able to enter, modify and revoke cardholder records in their existing personnel tracking system (based on Microsoft Active Directory); this data is then automatically synchronized to the PACS system where it is used to control access to government buildings.

The PSI solution enables James City County administrators to save time, and reduce errors, by using a single system for data entry and maintenance. The PSI deployment also improves security, since any changes made in the personnel tracking system, such as marking a card as "revoked" or "lost", are automatically respected and enforced by the PACS system.

Enterprise Air's Physical Security Interconnect (PSI) platform is a technology solution for synchronizing any kind of data between central and local security systems - particularly systems that manage ID cards, and data about the cardholders that use them. PSI was designed to be highly secure, fault-tolerant and compatible with the widest possible range of IDMS and PACS technologies.

Enterprise Air has partnerships with many popular PACS vendors and maintains an extensive library of connectors to their PACS systems, across multiple versions.
