General Services Administration chooses Mobile Badge Management solution to ensure Continuity Of Operations (COOP)
NEW YORK, NY - September 30, 2006 - Enterprise Air has recently deployed its Mobile Badge Management Software to the General Services Administration (GSA) in New York City.
Having integrated with GSA's physical access control system (PACS) helps ensure Continuity of Operations (COOP) during evacuations to administer access control within the building when all permanently installed readers would be off.
The Mobile Badge Management System gives GSA the ability to read PIV II Smart Cards as well as enforce tighter security when threat levels may rise by enforcing pin code verification stored on the card. The application is also intended for backups to the installed readers as well as delivering access control to temporary areas where readers are not installed.
Established in 1949, The GSA's mission is to "help federal agencies better serve the public by offering, at best value, superior workplaces, expert solutions, acquisition services and management policies.
